TASTING NOTES
Nose — Complex and layered, with a subtle expression of oak framing chalky, pithy undertones. Notes of lemon, acacia blossom and nougat unfold with quiet intensity.
Palate — Vibrant and linear, showing abundant white pear and lime pith. Precise and crystalline, drawing out exceptional poise and balance on a long, persistent finish.
FOOD PAIRING Grilled seafood, roasted chicken, or creamy pasta dishes.

TERROIR Shale soils of the Bokkeveld Series, Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge.
WINEMAKING Handpicked at optimal ripeness and cooled overnight. Bunches are destemmed and whole berries gently pressed in a pneumatic press, then cold-settled and transferred to barrel for spontaneous natural fermentation. The wine rests on its lees for 16 months in seasoned 500-litre French oak barrels, after which the finest barrels are selected and blended for bottling.
