At Francis Wines, we take as much care in delivering your wine as we do in crafting it. All orders are shipped within South Africa and are carefully packaged to ensure your bottles arrive in perfect condition.


Delivery Areas

We currently ship to all provinces within South Africa, including major centres and outlying regions. Please note that delivery to certain remote or outlying areas may take additional time.

Enjoy complimentary shipping on all Francis Wines orders over R3,000. This threshold applies to the order subtotal before any applicable discounts.

Outlying & Remote Areas 5–7 business days

Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment being confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.


Wine Packaging & Handling

We package all wine orders with care to protect your bottles during transit:

  • Each bottle is individually wrapped and secured in purpose-built wine packaging.
  • Cases are packed to minimise movement and prevent breakage.
  • All parcels are clearly labelled as fragile.

We recommend that someone is available to receive the delivery, as wine should not be left in direct sunlight or extreme heat.


Alcohol Delivery Restrictions

In accordance with South African law:

  • Wine may only be delivered to persons 18 years of age or older.
  • A valid form of identification may be requested upon delivery.
  • Delivery to unlicensed premises or restricted areas is not permitted.
  • We reserve the right to refuse delivery if the recipient appears to be under the legal drinking age.

Returns & Damaged Orders

We stand behind the quality of our wines. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
